welcome to Eating Out Omaha, my new blog developed solely to help combat my rising blood pressure and mounting stress levels. i'm a waiter in West Omaha, and although normally i enjoy my job very much i occasionally find myself having to provide service and hospitality to the very dregs of humanity that this city has to offer, without much recompense for the effort. hence, this blog. on this site i will be detailing the most detestable, raunchy, annoying, rude, discriminate, and foolish behavior of patrons and employees at both the restaurant where i work and restaurants i frequent in the Omaha area.
so be warned, fellow Omahans: if you've been rude to your waitstaff or cruel to your valet, if you've been tipping poorly or not at all, if you've been demanding and needy and finicky and picky, if you've been roaming the restaurants from Blondo to Harrison unfettered scattering misery and woe in your wake, be forewarned: no longer are your social misdemeanors discrete and secret. no longer will you be permitted to let your bratty children sprint wildly around restaurants scattering french fries in their wake. no longer will your assholishness be anonymous.
i'm calling you out, Omaha. lern 2 dine.
